Reaching new customers with an English website

Frank-Oskar Drechsel has been an independent tax and business consultant in Stuttgart, Germany since 2011. He advises private individuals, freelancers, entrepreneurs and corporations about a wide range of tax, financial accounting and business issues.

When Mr. Drechsel built his website in 2012, he knew he wanted much of the content to be in English as well.  The Stuttgart area (in Baden-Württemberg) is one of Germany’s strongest economic regions and home to many successful international companies.  Expats who live and work there but do not speak German may still be required to file a local tax return. Or, the finance director of a local company might be looking for support to adapt the financial reporting and accounting processes to international standards.

Conversely, a company with headquarters outside Germany that is planning to set up a business in Germany may need advice about the related tax, legal and accounting issues.

The English version of the website has benefited Frank-Oskar Drechsel. It has made his services known to a wider audience, highlighted his international capabilities, and helped his business to grow.

I had the privilege of translating Mr. Drechsel’s website.  http://www.steuerberater-drechsel.de/en.html
