UBS invests to identify and attract hard-to-find talent. One of the ways it does that is through the UBS Career Comeback Program, which seeks to cultivate a pool of talent that many companies have largely ignored: professionals who have taken a break from the workforce for a few years.

In order to inform employees about this program, the Group Internal Communications department asked me to write a profile about it for the June 2008 issue of UBS’s global staff magazine. The article not only informed employees but also engaged them by describing how UBS Career Comeback fits into bank’s overall community outreach.

Thanks to creative approaches like UBS Career Comeback, UBS is well-placed to keep its leadership and talent pipeline full for the future.
